Since 1925, this firm has attracted projects that would ultimately leave an indelible mark on Chicago's skyline and its sprawling suburbs.

In 1946, the firm was chosen as the architect for one of the earliest planned communities in the nation, the Town of Park Forest. In the 50's and 60's the firm received acclaim for the designs of the first regional shopping centers in the nation; followed in 1976 by one of the most recognized mixed-use projects in the country, Water Tower Place, which helped transform Chicago's North Michigan Avenue into one of the nation's finest retailing avenues.

The firm went on to design numerous high-profile corporate headquarters, as well as many high-rise buildings like Prudential Plaza, and Chicago's City Place.

As Loebl Schlossman & Hackl's architects and planners became recognized experts in specialty niches, their libraries, laboratories, arts centers, and master planning drew acclaim at institutions like the University of Chicago and Cook County Hospital. Experience across a balance of practice areas gave the firm the ability to cross-fertilize ideas between building types. Entertainment venues became infused in retail projects and hospitality experience contributed to new concepts in patient- oriented healthcare design as is evidenced by the firm's growing list of repeat clients.

Since the 1970's, Loebl Schlossman & Hackl's design reputation as a multi-disciplined architectural firm has transformed into a worldwide practice with clients in Europe, South America, the Middle East, Asia and Africa.
